A door leads into the lounge, which again is open to the eaves.
The original hay loft opening between the kitchen and lounge has been retained,
but the door, unfortunately, had to be replaced. Most of the flag floor was
rescued from the buildings during conversion. The large feature fireplace
houses a cast wood burning stove and we supply ample wood to keep you warm and
cosy. There is a colour television and video and also a radio/CD/cassette
player. Seating is on two large settees, a selection of coffee tables and side
tables, ample lighting and rugs complete the room. The old cart doors have been
replaced with large patio doors which open onto the forecourt area. A feature
stone wall is adorned with some old farm implements.
A hallway leads from the lounge into a small hall giving access to the cloak room consisting of toilet and wash basin. The hall leads to the twin bedroom. The wooden floor has scatter rugs and there is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The twin pine beds are fitted with duvets. There is also an emergency fire exit door in this room. The wooden stairs lets from the lounge to a small landing.
The master bedroom with its cast iron bed and wooden floor is accessed from this landing. The pine cupboards and wardrobe provide plenty of clothes space and complement the exposed beams. A full length window provides views along the valley. There is a hairdryer and scatter rugs provide a homely feel. The bathroom can be accessed from both the landing and the master bedroom.
